Axopar AX/E 25
Axopar · Electric · premium
From €234,000
The Axopar AX/E 25 is the larger of Axopar's two fully electric AX/E models, built on the brand's twin-stepped V-hull. A single Evoy Storm outboard — 225 kW continuous, 450 kW peak — draws on two 63 kWh Kreisel batteries for 50-plus-knot performance, DC fast charging, and a choice of open Cross Bow or sheltered Cross Top layouts.

Evoy Storm outboard — Evoy's own published figures: 225 kW continuous / 450 kW peak (evoy.no; Axopar quotes the same motor as "over 300 HP nominal, peak 600 HP"). Two 63 kWh Kreisel lithium-ion packs, 126 kWh total, patented immersion cooling, IP67 / IP6K9K rated, puncture-resistant shell — the builder's own description. Range: more than 60 nm or up to 12 hours at 5 knots (recorded here), Axopar's own qualified figure read 2026-10-15; no fast-cruise range is published for this model, unlike the AX/E 22's 17 nm at 25 kn. DC fast charging: 10-80% in 50-60 min at 120-150 kW (recorded: fastest, 50 min); full charge 1h20 at 120 kW or 1h10 at 150 kW, plug 400 VAC via transformer. Standard 230 V marina outlets supported; no AC charging time published, so charging_time_hours stays null rather than estimated. Configurations: Cross Bow (open) and Cross Top (T-top), same twin-stepped V-hull as the conventional Axopar 25. Price: €234,000 starting, published by Axopar itself (read 2026-10-15); the July 2026 research had recorded Cross Bow from €229,000 / Cross Top €234,000 from dealer-era data — the builder's figure now replaces it.
What a buyer should know
Reading the numbers
The AX/E 25 pairs two 63 kWh Kreisel batteries — 126 kWh in total — with a single Evoy Storm outboard, published by Evoy itself at 225 kW continuous and 450 kW peak (Axopar quotes the same motor as "over 300 HP, peak 600 HP"). Top speed is beyond 50 knots, and the two published performance figures belong to opposite ends of the throttle: Axopar's own range numbers are more than 60 nautical miles — or up to twelve hours — at 5 knots, while anything near continuous power would empty the pack in roughly half an hour. That is not a criticism so much as the defining fact of the boat: a fast day boat with a large reserve for slow work. No fast-cruise range is published for this model, so anyone planning regular high-speed coastal transits should ask for a range figure at the speed they actually intend to run.
Fast charging, same window as the smaller boat
DC fast charging takes the pack from 10% to 80% in 50 to 60 minutes on a 120 kW or 150 kW charger, with a full charge in about 1 hour 20 minutes at 120 kW or 1 hour 10 minutes at 150 kW — effectively the same charging window as the AX/E 22 despite double the battery. Axopar also supports standard 230 V marina outlets but publishes no time for them; with 126 kWh aboard, an overnight charge is the realistic assumption, and a written figure for your own shore connection is worth requesting before ordering.
Two configurations and a cabin
Cross Bow and Cross Top share the twin-stepped V-hull of the conventional Axopar 25 range: the open Cross Bow extends the forward deck for sunbathing and watersports, while the Cross Top adds a T-top for shelter in longer trips or unpredictable conditions. The cuddy cabin makes overnighting possible rather than comfortable — this is a day boat with occasional-weekend ambitions, not a cruiser.
An awarded boat, verifiably
The AX/E 25 won the 2023 Gustave Trouvé Award for Production Electric Boats up to 8m/26ft, was a finalist at the Best of Boats Awards the same year, and a nominee for European Powerboat of the Year 2025 — three independent juries, three sourced results, which is about as checkable as credentials get in this market.
Price, from the builder this time
Unlike the AX/E 22, whose price exists only in dealer listings, Axopar publishes a starting price for the AX/E 25: €234,000 as of October 2026 (earlier in 2026 the Cross Bow was listed from €229,000 with the Cross Top at €234,000, so treat the figure as current rather than fixed). Axopar publishes no weight, passenger capacity or CE design category for this model, as for the rest of the AX/E line. The electric premium over a comparable petrol Axopar 25 remains substantial, and is still best priced honestly against your own annual fuel and service spend.
Written from the builder’s published specifications and the wider market, not from testing the boat ourselves. Always confirm figures with the manufacturer before committing.
